I also looked at Talbot's and while they had a couple of silk shirts neither looked like "travel" shirts and the rest of their items were nightwear.

Unfortunately search results for “silk” are either satin silk which is 100% polyester or not big enough (I am 2x)

I'm seeing sites for google=> "washable silk" that seem to be what you want.

I just looked in at one Blouse there and it had an "XL" size. And as the details of Ladies sizes escapes me perhaps the size you are looking for is there. "Washable silk" as search terms seem to return a lot more "outdoor" type clothes.

I know you are looking for silk, but I want to suggest a better-than-silk material. It's the Airism line of clothing made by Uniqlo. They likely have stores in Toronto. This material is super awesome -- it does not just wick moisture, it actively cools your skin. I load up on them when they are on sale.
Their sizing range may not be as wide, however.

New Zealand Nature sells silk shirts if you are looking for something like a plain short or long sleeve t-shirt. I can’t vouch for them as I haven’t bought one yet. I do have their silk nightie and it’s great, folds up very small and weighs virtually nothing.

Also, just remembered Blue Illusion (Australian company) has good quality clothing that’s pure silk and also silk blend. It sells plus sizes. I have one of their silk shirts and it’s an excellent travel piece that goes on all of my trips. They also sell high quality linens. Actually, half of my wardrobe comes from Blue Illusion, hehe, although I generally wait for their super sales. Not sure about international delivery.

Quince also has nice-looking washable silk in a variety of styles (www.quince.com).
