Personal item/tote

I am looking for a new tote that is:
-about 12"W x 12"H x 7
-Lightweight
-two zipper pockets inside
- shoulder straps
- zip closure
- light color inside

I’m traveling now with “low vision” due to a medical condition and I need something that’s light inside (my current Longchamp tote is navy and it’s a dark hole when searching for something).
My carry-on is a backpack (which allows me to keep both of my hands-free) so a pass through is not necessary.

I’m frugal by nature but for the right tote I’ll pay to get what I want.

I don't have a specific suggestion that meets your criteria, but you might investigate Sherpani bags. I have a convertible tote bag (it has backpack straps) and it has a bright pink interior that is actually easy to find things in. They don't make that model any more but I glanced at current inventory and there are some choices with lighter colored interiors https://sherpani.com/

I've seen a lot of Sherpani bags at Sierra.com lately. That's always a good place to check for bags because they generally give the dimensions and show the interior of the bag.

Look at the L.L.Bean website. They have good quality totes in various sizes.

Yes, Sherpani might have a bag that works for you.

REI carries some, so you could check them out in person. I got my Sherpani Viso bag from them. They are lightweight and soft as opposed to some of the stiff bags out there.

Thank you! The Viso bag is just what I was looking for and the color I wanted was even on sale at REI.

I see Rebecca above. Don’t get us started on Vera Bradley totes! OP - even though you have found your bag - expect a lot more responses about totes.

Oh I have been obsessing about this for sometime. I’ve ordered the tote but am always open to other ideas.

Celebrities with massive bank accounts and closets just buy everything they want. I saw a video of Celine Dion showing her custom shoe rack. I think she had around 1,000 pairs of shoes.

We, non-financially endowed, make painstaking decisions about our purchases. Still overspend a bit to get what we want and to support the economy.

Happy Bag Hunting and Shopping.
