I think these bags work well for men. As a woman, with my unmentioned body features, I do better with backpacks. I like RS posters to share new products here. I emphasize personal criteria for choosing a bag.

So Frank, do you carry it crossbody or by hand? Sympathies about living and traveling with a frozen shoulder. Are you able to place your bag in the overhead bin? I carry my personal item that is briefcase like crossbody and find it comfortable. I know I’m a minority here but I find shrugging in and out of backpacks very annoying so I’ve never wanted to do either piece of my luggage that way.

I have a couple RS Euro Flight Bags which are close in size to the one mentioned. Their advantage is the shoulder strap is detachable...have never used it, instead replaced with an Op-Tech SOS (Saves On Shoulders) strap which the wide padded centre section is stretchy neoprene and acts as a shock absorber making the bag feel like a kilo lighter. Have a smaller version on my camera bag as well. Not sure if they're still made but a godsend.

Also, I find a 1kg backpack like the RS Classic less painful with a bad shoulder than hoisting a 2,5kg wheeled bag in/out of the overhead or carrying up/down stairs. How I get in/out of the backpack is put bad arm in first (and whenever possible I stand the pack on a seat or table and back into it then stand up).

I carry it either...

1) over the handles of my wheeled bag (it has a luggage pass thru);

2) on one shoulder (the good one);

3) By hand.

It seems kind of bulky crossbody.

I can, so far, manage to put my bags in the overhead by letting my good shoulder/arm handle most of the weight.

I do have to put a jacket on via the good shoulder first. A lightweight backpack, such as the packable one I use if I need one during the day, is fine. But since my personal Item can weigh 10-12 pounds when starting my trip, it's too much to try to get on and off with a backpack.

Why so much weight. It's health/medical Items I need to take.

I try not to let health or certain injuries stop me from traveling. Age, however, is gaining ground.

Looks like a good bag, and not pricy. Glad to hear it has the luggage pass-thru ("trolley strap" as it's called by some bag makers) -- I couldn't tell from the pictures.

So sorry to hear about your frozen shoulder. I had one when I was just a "kid" (mid 40's, I think it was). I hope you are getting good physical therapy; I did and eventually it was like it never happened. I don't remember how long that took -- many months, at least.

Looks like a great product and hopefully it serves you well for many years. It's slightly smaller than the Tom Bihn Tri-Star which is my usual carry on luggage for air travel. However it's considerably less expensive than the Tri-Star so that's a huge benefit.
