Passport and Vac Card Holder Combo

I got one that you're talking about. Only one problem for those of us who dont' carry a bag.......keeping it in your pocket makes it susceptible to pickpockets.

For me, I got a clear case that holds both my passport and CDC card, and I can keep it around my neck, and under my clothes, via a lanyard.

Some aggregator sites have done extensive market research and reviews of combination and solo holders that run from $5 to $50. Some are plastic and a few are way stylish in colorful leathers with additional pockets, pens, snaps, or lanyards. A wider search at the amazon reveals dozens more. (I've been shopping for a replacement front pocket wallet and have been stumbling onto these things.) Highly recommended are units that have an attached, two-sided, transparent envelope for the CDC card so another, perhaps locally required, document can be inserted.

I have the CDC card and passport in a clear plastic container which you got when banks issued bankbooks along with its holder. The passport fits snuggly and my CDC card is behind it. The whole thing is a passport / card combo which goes into the summer jacket inside breast pocket. Easy for me to access when needed. In SF when entering a restaurant , I flash this whether asked to or not. "They" are supposed to ask as that is mandated here.

Jane thank you so much! We will be making our first trip to Italy next spring and I am carefully reading, planning, and pre-packing. I just ordered a couple of the passport/cdc card carriers because I believe that it is a super way to help us keep our documents handy as well as organized. I assume the passport opens without taking out of the holder?

I kept my passport and vaccination card in a neck wallet that I hide under my clothes when I was in Venice recently. My vaccination card is in a sleeve with my Yellow card from WHO.

Not perfect but it works for me.

I also bought one just like what Jane linked to. It's very nice. Only in my pocket it sticks out and I felt it was too vulnerable to theft. YMMV.

As I both entered Scotland and returned to the USA in 2019, authorities insisted I remove my passport from its nice leather wallet and hand it to them. Could have been a peculiarity of those particular individuals but I resolved to find a different method of transporting/holding/safeguarding my passport. Now I have a leather sleeve that fits the neck wallet.
