New Ravenna mini rolling case?

I'm wondering if anyone has purchased the new Ravenna mini rolling case. I have a small Samsonite underseat bag (the 17" long model) and have gotten good use from it, though I'm a little skeptical of "underseat" bags, since there's such a variance between airlines, airplane seats and the like. I fly Southwest frequently, and most of these rolling bags will only fit under the middle seat on their 737s, for example.

Although the Samsonite spends most of its flying time in the overhead, it's a great weekend bag in any case. And it's passed muster on commuter jets, where normal sized rolling bags usually have to be checked.

Any thoughts on this new addition to the RS line?

At almost 7 pounds it seems heavy for such a small bag but that mass is probably all in the wheels and the frame. Samsonite lists about a dozen 17” bags, many have four wheels which must take up huge space. The Leverage 2-wheeler overall dimensions: 18.0" x 17.0" x 12.0" at 5 pounds. The Ravenna Mini is much smaller at only 17x14x8. Seems like it’s going to fit under almost any seat and into those commuter overheads.

I’m a onebag backpack traveler and that doesn’t appeal to many users of wheelies and spinners. But, for comparison, I use a PacSafe clamshell 40L, similar to the RS Convertible or Back Door bags which are all maximum carry-on, 21x14x9, and only 2 pounds. The small Ravenna backpack is 15x12x7 And masses 2 pounds.; the Appenzel small backpack is 18x13x7 at 2 pounds.

RS is having a nice 20% sale till 2018.12.31 but Samsonite is also having a heck of a sale at this moment.
