Money saving Tip for the shopaholics

I have found that a lot of brands I like are available on Amazon for a better price than the company’s own website. This includes bags like Baggalini and Kipling as well as clothing. I was just looking at the weekend sale for Nic +Zoe, a clothing brand I like, and found 3 items I like very much. They were all either on “Final Sale” (non-returnable) or not available in my size. I am not going to spend $50 or more on an item I cannot return, as about 90% of what I buy online turns out to be too big for me even in the smallest size.

So I googled each one and found 2 of them on Amazon, in my size, with free Prime shipping, and they can be returned if they don’t fit. Plus, they were much less expensive than on the Nic + Zoe website.

This one, https://www.nicandzoe.com/nzt/nzt-abstract-stripe-long-sleeve-scoop-neck-NZTF232034.html?lang=en_US
Originally $98, on Final Sale for $55 plus shipping, was $44 with free shipping, and returnable.

Even better was a V-neck sweater in a nice spice color I like; original price $138, sale price on the website $86 plus shipping, and not returnable. I found it on Amazon and in my size was only $33.

The third item was not available in my size from Amazon, but Google found it at Bloomingdale’s at good price, and returnable.

Thanks for the tips Lola, and the link. I don’t know this brand but I will check them out.

I really like their “4-way” cardigan for travel (it can be worn open, tied, or wrapped). They are very lightweight (Ok for summer travel) and pack small, and instantly dress up an outfit.

Other brands I have found on Amazon at lower price than on the brand’s own website include Patagonia, Smartwool, Icebreaker, Dansko and Ecco shoes, and Terry bicycle clothing. And the free shipping is also a saver.

Oohhhh, Lola! Great tip! I buy Baggalini on Amazon but have never even looked for N + Z.

EP - great site, Sue Patrick!
