A couple of years ago, I purchased a very soft lightweight Merino wool t-shirt, which is great for layering in cool to cold weather. Love it. Recently, I purchased some very soft ultralight Merino wool briefs and tested them in hot and humid conditions. Stink factor much less than synthetic versions and they easily dry overnight. Fully passed my tests.

I have used Patagonia lightweight capiline boxer briefs and a similar one from REI, i love them. I wear them all the time now, well not the same pair all the time, I have many pairs. ;)

i did the same test.
I found that the synthetic wasnt as nice to be around 1 or 2 days after use whereas the wool was great.
