Terminally hip, that pack. If the zipper pulls were longer, you could thread them together through a locking gate carabiner. Not secure but tamper resistant.

If you want higher and far more reliable levels of purposely designed security features on a pack or shoulder bag, look at offerings from PacSafe.

@Bogiesan - Saw the comments on the photo and I have to agree. As a climber I could easily and quickly open the lock on the carabiner, one handed. Plus as full size carabiner is really expensive and heavy!!!!

@Cindy H, thank you for the idea. That might work. But im not sure if I can sew it. Do you probably has any idea to attach the ring?

@bogiesan
I know this bag is not the best for travelling. But what i mean with travelling is just between cities and not to the mountains :). But anyway, thank you very much for you idea!

I just use a overhand stitch to attach the ring to the bag. You can either attach it to the bag material or to the cloth part near the end of the zipper.

BTW, I found the ring finding at Michaels. JoAnne also has them. Technically they are “8mm closed jump rings

It’s a 5 minute project to sew the ring in place.

You can do it with other bags too, using larger rings as security rings.
