Jazzing up a TB side hustle

Thought I would pass on this cross body purse strap I just bought from World Market that goes perfectly with the Aubergine color from Tom Bihn. I was looking to find a strap that was a bit more colorful as well as diminish the squeaking from the original strap that has the plastic attachments. The purply color in the floral jacquard is a dead match to the TB bag and it looks really nice with it. It looks like it would also go with a blue, too, if I were to ever add another bag… which will probably happen lol! Looks very well made, too.

MustLoveDogs, that is really nice! Yes, I am looking for a strap and no, I don’t think I am taking the Side Hustle with me for my next trip. It’s only 10 days with just about 2.5 days of “city” time so I think I can manage with the Everyday Cubelet.

I am saving this for future consideration! I guess I need a new folder for “Items from forum enablers”!!!

CanAmCherie, how could I forget? lol Of course I may never reach Platinum Enabler status, but a girl can try!

The price is great on this, too, for the quality. Is more flexible than the original black one (which in the end may not make it as durable, will see)

I still will use my original strap I am sure, but the colors in this make me happy and it looks like it could have come with the bag they match so well.

For me, an Aftermarket strap is key for Side Kick. I’ve never liked the TB straps on smaller bags. Too clunky and slippery. Just got a used LeSportsac small crossbody on Poshmark for the 1” strap, which looked black in the photos. THe strap is actually a dark blue. But looks fab with my new Agave Side Kick.

Speaking of enabling, I got my first TB cubelet, also in Agave. It’s roomier than expected. I’ve been using a vintage TB Citizen Canine for walking the dog all these years, but it’s not big enough to hold sunglasses. Of course I dislike the cubelet’s TB strap, but it’s tolerable for a bag this small, and I like the bag. Ms Cubelette may find her way into my travel lineup. KOE, y’all!

Well, your post caused me to wake up yesterday with a brain wave, lol so THANKS very much!

I am going to an art workshop in Scotland next month and have been trying to figure out the best way to "package" my art supplies. I'd tried a few different ways but none really struck me. THEN I realized I could use the Side Hustle - my zip up case for a sketchbook/paint/brushes for sketching outdoors fits as well as all the assorted stuff I will need for when we are painting in the studio at the venue.

Yesterday was our local RS meet up so I took it along for show and tell and it worked pretty well. I now need to get back to a better strap so looking at your link again.

Thanks to you and some caffeine I think I've got this solved, hahaha!!
