Is Santa bringing anyone any travel goodies?

It's a bit early yet to know, but by tomorrow morning, maybe some folks will have some reports on what travel-related items they got in their stockings???!! Or, if they're really lucky, a pledge for a trip or other special experience during an already-planned trip??

I already know what will be in my stocking---a trip to Paris in May for the French Open. Santa had to buy the Eurostar tickets in late November when they went on sale. ;-)

We received Eating Italy's Trastavere tour from our kids. Really excited about it. I bought everyone RS travel cubes; they're very reasonably priced especially with the travel store sale early this month.

I bought my wife a Eagle Creek Pack-it folder. We don't spend alot on each other at Christmas so we can put our money toward a couple of trips to Europe each year.

Only travel stuff I get is the stuff I give myself. Sounds like I'll be traveling next year!

My family gave me a week long workshop at Arrowmont in Tennessee. I'm still smiling.

Santa definitely followed the travel theme here.

Hubby announced around Thanksgiving that he was giving me (us) Global Entry. All set now (it took about two weeks) after constant stalking of the Global Entry appointment web site to move up our appointments from the original late-February dates (local office suggested constant watching, as people cancel appointments for various reasons).

New Rick Steves' neck wallets :) We wore out the previous ones, after a decade plus of many trips and countless laundering. The new ones seem sturdier with a nice moisture-barrier lining (time will tell).

I tell Santa that I want to create memories (not collect more "things.") Santa enjoys travel, too, so we'll endure the flights and see a bit more of the world while we still can.

Happy and safe travels to all!!!

Karen, congrats! I had to look up Arrowmont to see what it was. Do you have a specific art field that you like to work in, or a little bit of several things? Wonderful!

We're like Donald and his family; we forgo the expensive gifts, knowing we are budgeting for a wonderful trip to England in the spring. The trade-off is well worth it!

Kim- Pottery. I'd been looking at it for a few years, and mentioned it to my husband, and he pulled it off. I had no idea. I might need to plan a fishing trip for him.

Santa definitely came through travel-wise! :)

My hubby and I will be heading out on a 5 week backpacking trip all throughout Europe this June, so naturally we asked for trip items! We both got:

-Osprey Porter 46 travel backpack
-Day pack
-Ebags packing cube set
-Hanging toiletry organizer
-Extra large quick dry travel towels
-Outlet adapters
-Eye mask and ear plugs for the plane
-Silk travel sheets

Pretty sure my family thought I was crazy, I might be a little travel obsessed... :) Can't wait to go!
