Has anyone tried the DELSEY Paris Clavel carry-on?

I often fly Air France and KLM - because I get the best deals for my miles that way. They have very strict weight requirements, as well as size restrictions, and I would like to go carry-on only when I can. I'm always on the lookout for a carry-on that is their exact measurements to maximize my space allotment. I also need something really light weight - because they weigh your personal item with your carry-on for a maximun total of 26 pounds (and I need to travel with a computer.) The DELSEY Paris Clavel seems to fit the bill. I'm just wondering what you think. It's 13.75 x 9.75 x 21.75 inches and 5.3 lbs - it says.

We have 2 of them thathave been to Europe 2 times. We pack for 3 weeks with bike shorts.

I have gotten it down to 18 pounds. We also have rectangular backpacks for the essentials just in case they tell us we need to check our bags.

Really happy with them.

I had read your reply and decided to order the case. However, I got one on which that the zipper did not work well. It has the Delsey double zipper, which I have seen before. On the other piece of luggage with the double zipper, it was a bit hard to zip, but there was another identical piece in the store with a better zipper.

On the Clavel that I received, the zipper was MUCH worse. Once unzipped, I had a really hard time getting it zipped back up, and almost gave up. If it was full, it might have been impossible. (I did try soap, but to no avail.) Therefore, I returned it. I do appreciate your taking the time to answer my question. I'm glad that yours worked out OK. Other than the zipper, I was pleased with the luggage. It would have been terrific for KLM/AirFrance regulations. Maybe Delsey will come out with another similar piece without the dreaded double zipper.
