I have used them in recent years in Spain and France, and they are self-service, well-run, clean, fast dryers, and simple to use. The detergent is built into the washer cycle, too.

I used one in December in Florence (I think it was Speed Queen)--very convenient because the detergent was included.
I don't know if the one we visited in Rovinj Croatia was SQ but it was very clean, very modern and very easy to use. And it had was a glass panel in the floor that you could look down to view Roman ruins below!
No, but I bookmarked the website. Great information.

How interesting! I'll be in Croatia in the fall and will have to look for that.
We used a Speed Queen laundromat near Campo di Fiori in Rome and it was great - pleasant attendant who kept an eye on things so we could wander while our clothes washed and dried; good machines; machine to make change for the machines; detergent available. We washed everything after several days of touring in Italy before getting on a cruise from Rome.
Darn, they have some in Germany but no place I will be going to (except Berlin and my hotel has washing services there. Oh well, I'm sure I will find something while I'm traveling.
I used their facilities in Poland and was amazed by how clean/user-friendly they were. At the Wroclaw location, the staff actually cleaned the dispensers periodically. This sharply contrasts with laundromats in the US, where soap dispensers are never clean and may be moldy.
I"m glad to hear other locations are good, too!
