Happy Labor Day

if you've been thinking about buying luggage, the best deals pop up during holiday weekend sales so it's time to start looking. Your nearby department stores will be glad to let you play with the different brands and grades to your heart's delight, and also look for coupons to stack on the discounts. You might just discover that every suitcase comes down the same assembly line in China and is divided into 3 grades like most consumer items (good, better, best), or you might decide that one particular brand is miles above the others -- your call. Most stores have generous return policies so you could buy a piece (or two) and then continue shopping.

You can also check shopping sites like Dealnews and Slickdeals. If you prefer to let your fingers do the shopping, you can use Google to do price comparisons and a site called (for some reason) Camelcamelcamel lets you track prices on Amazon and ask to be notified when something goes on sale. It's quite amazing how Amazon's computers constantly monkey prices up and down, sometimes a little sometimes a lot.

You know what phred

I need a new rolling bag for my trip in October.

I bought a sling bag during Prime Day and a backpack before that.

I was going to hit the thrift stores but it has been almost over 100 every day since sometimes in June with no end in site. Today was 110.

I may have to do Amazon and i have gift cards.

When should I start looking?
