Good Quality Budget Luggage Sale

First, I don't work for any luggage company. This is just FYI.
Ebags.com Sale - Travelpro/Maxlite 4 bags, Travelpro T-Bold bag, etech 2.0 mini bag, granite gear hybrid pack/roller bag. Carhart is heavy, durable.
Eagle Creek has a new packable tote with backpack straps. (Not on sale, but still a good price.)
Makes me want to get a new bag!

I laughed when I saw this post, because every time I see a new bag I evaluate it for size, convenience, perfection of design, and whether it looks good. I pretty much want to get a new bag on a monthly basis. I have purchased REI bags, Eagle Creeks, Victorinox bags, Ebags, and Patagonia bags. Currently, I travel most places with the Tom Bihn Tristar, but I am looking longingly at the Osprey Porter 46. I think it all may be part of the travel madness many of us have grown to enjoy.

Sigh, I don't have a thing about purses, or even shoes, but I do have a luggage 'thing'. As previous poster, I want a new bag everytime I read a post like this - but I rarely find one that does it all for an aging body. Pricing it into Cdn$ seems to help curb my enthusiasm :-)

Maria, I am exactly like you!!! I swear the best time I had in the States while I was home in July was 30 minutes in REI trying out various Eagle Creek bags with my nieces . . .

I have noticed many world travelers using Travel Pro brand. We have them--obtained on Amazon.

Outside of the spinner and my carry on shoulder sack, the other travel items (the hidden pocket, neck pouch, other zippered containers, etc) I use are by brand name...Eagle Creek. I don't buy any other brand name

...... Your interest in the Osprey Porter 46 is understandable.
I have used one for some time now and it still amazes me with how comfortable it is when loaded and how much stuff it can hold. An extremely well-designed product!

Eagle Creek is a value traveler's friend. They make good quality and durable products, and tend to do big changes to their product lines annually, resulting in some very nice 60% off or more sales at discounters like Sierra Trading Post in the first quarter of the year. Got some very nice 21" Eagle Creek carry ons about two years back for maybe 25% original retail from STP online. (And as someone who doesn't like my bags to look like everyone else's in case I have to check, I love that they're bright lime green)

My current boutique luggage obsessions are Tom Bihn and Red Oxx, but neither of those go on sale outside maybe going to the factory for any clearance specials.

I keep buying bags thinking that THIS will be the perfect carryon bag for me.

The good news is that my family does not want for luggage...

EBags has some pretty good deals. If you wait for a sale or a new sign-up promotion, you can get 20% off. And they often send you you a $10 certificate. And eBags customer service is excellent. But be aware that eBags will send you lots of promo emails. You can unsubscribe, but the emails will resume. I suggest you use a non-important email address.
