Costco is selling Delsey 2 piece luggage set for $180. I realize these pieces may be too big for most on this forum but thought it might be helpful to a few people (like me).
The larger piece is 30” x 19.4”x 11.7” and weighs 9 lbs
The smaller piece is 22.7” x 14.2” x 9.5” and weighs 6.6 lbs
Thanks for the post. I don’t need luggage but i cruise the aisles at Costco and the local stores when the mood strikes. Clearance stores like TJMax have remarkable bargains on top brands of luggage but finding them takes practice and a bit of whacky determination that can take months. Easier to just find a good sale. In the olden days, the shoulder season meant end of summer markdowns could be expected but there seems to be no slowdown in the urge to travel.
Unfortunately the 22.7 inch size is too big to use as a carryon for most European airlines—- they say 55 cm which is under 22”
bogiesan, thanks, yes i prefer sales, i din’t like shopping so not going to keep making the rounds to stores like TJMaxx looking for the brand i like.
Sasha true, but i don’t take inter-Europe flights. It works fine for Delta/AF international flights which i usually take. I’ve never had my carry-on measured or weighed. But i do realize these pieces are not for everyone.
