Just picked up two of the Osprey remnants - the student backpack and the tote. They look very nice and the prices are amazing! Thank you for the heads up!!! I think I'm also going to get some guidebooks from RS.
Also, Anker is having some Black Friday sales that are worth checking out.

The Osprey products do look great but I’m trying to find packable totes or duffels with a luggage sleeve. Otherwise I’d be all over these.

I bought a couple RS guidebooks that I need to plan June’s trip and the RS calendar. I don’t need any new travel stuff since I haven’t travelled enough to wear out what I have (yet).
We had to buy a new washer because I killed my old one washing a heavy bed shirt. Thank goodness it was on sale.

Try Matador products. Super lightweight, durable, and packable so not necessarily cheap. Might not have the sleeve you want but most of their totes and duffles have a strap for that purpose.

Check all of your favorite suppliers for this stuff. If your town still has a mall, department stores' BF sales might include luggage, bags, travel accessories, travel-adaptable clothing. So brave the madding crowds and spend locally.

bogiesan, I will definitely be doing that, although not necessarily for travel stuff. On Friday I'm planning a long hike and then working on a research paper for my history class, and on Saturday, I'm shopping locally - both for myself and gifts for others.
