Excellent, no plug needed, night light

Somebody posted this nightlight in a thread about various things people find useful quite a while ago. I bought it and have used it on numerous trips. It's great!

Being able to put it anywhere you need it without needing an outlet is the main plus. It also lasts a long time on a charge. I have used it all night, every night, for a week at a time. I don't use the motion sensor, I find the lower of the 2 "on" settings provides the right amount of light.

Thanks Liz for posting. Much better than leaving the hotel bathroom light on all night. These night lights could be handy around the house too.

Great idea! I often throw a nightlight in the suitcase just in case a hotel room is pitch black.

Thanks for this info! It looks like the perfect way to put a little light just where I need it and it's always good to hear from someone here that a product actually works well. I'm going to order one now.

I'll have to see if I can find that thread about useful things to take when traveling. I'm still annoyed that I didn't order the bright pink Tom Bihn bedside organizer when someone suggested it. Now that color has been discontinued.

This is a wonderful recommendation. I think I need to try it out.

I bought these after the previous recommendation. I haven’t used them, but friends who recently moved to a new house borrowed them because they couldn’t find their nightlights. They returned them yesterday and they were very impressed with them. We leave a week from today for Europe and they will be going with us.

Thank you, LIZ! They're in my Amazon check-out ready to be ordered. We're taking our family, including our two grandsons, 9 and 11 to Morocco in December-January and staying in riads. They will have their own room. I'm pretty sure these will be appreciated.

Thanks, Liz - I was thinking about that when I was reading through the hotel wishlist thread, and remembered quite a few hotels where you have to turn on blazing lights for a midnight bathroom break. I just ordered it. FWIW, Amazon has it with a coupon (you save about 80 cents) and next day shipping. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MHVTHQS?

KRS, are you talking about the Travel Tray? You might check some of the TB Facebook groups. People are always buying and selling TB products there; many times in discontinued colors. Don't expect a bargain, though—I sold a TriStar about 5 years ago that I had owned for the previous 5 years, and sold it for just about the same price I bought it for. :-)

I just bought one of these lights and also recommended them to my family. Amazon Prime said that there was a $2.85 discount which expires on Aug. 25th.

I wish my daughter and I had had one of these for our recent stay in London, where there were no plugs in the bathroom. I’m putting one in my Amazon cart now. Thanks!

I use a little battery/operated tea light from the dollar store as a night light. Just turn it on at night and off in the morning. One lasts at least a month.

I use tea lights from the dollar store, they are so cheap, it's ok when I forget to put them back in my bag. Some even have an 8 (or 10?) hour timer function, so they shut off automatically. Replacement batteries cost more than the tea lights.

I'm in the tea light camp - and I got the suggestion years ago on this forum. Extra cheap - no recharging necessary.

We always include a battery operated LED tea light in our luggage. They are so inexpensive. We usually travel 3-4 weeks at a time, and one lasts the entire trip.
