The bags have "Rick Steves" branding on the top handle in white lettering. I find this kind of tacky, so I purchased the charcoal grey color which has the embroidered name in black. While still visible, it is less so.

I used a sharpie on the lettering on my black ipad veloce bag to block off the letters, which made them even less noticeable. I'm also considering sewing something over it to make the bag standout a bit. On my suitcase, I just added an ID that wraps around the handle.
