Enabler alert! Ori/Roka sale

Ori London is having a sale on selected bags. Included are some of the Canfield B's.
I'm still on the fence about using the Medium as a personal item. I've come to accept there probably is not a perfect personal item. They've all got their drawbacks, haven't they? Oh well...

EDIT: free shipping today
You can use the code EMILYHAPPY for an extra 10% off. Or so says someone in the Facebook Roka group.

Oh, the temptation—that is a nice sale, Sandra! I have 3 Roka bags now, plus the small Carnaby pouch, which I absolutely love! So I'm not sure I can justify another purchase. But maybe one more look....

ETA: Well, I succumbed. I just bought a medium Carnaby pouch, and a Chelsea crossbody bag. So cute and great prices! Here's the link if anyone is interested! https://orilondon.com/collections/shop-bright-for-black-friday

Mardee, you made me laugh. Thank you.

Luckily, I'm seldom, if ever, tempted. Although I am on the lookout for a new personal item.... Lol.

Pam, you have way more self-control than me!!!

Jane, you're welcome. ㋛ BTW, the medium Canfield makes an excellent personal item. And I speak from experience. ;-)

Pat, I know! Isn't the holiday season all about buying yourself travel bags, lol?!!

Kim, ha ha ha!!! (although I think I'm laughing at myself!).

Kenko, sad but true!

Mardee, if I recall correctly, you have both the Medium and the Small Canfield B. When you were traveling with both of them, how did you do it? Were you able to pack the Small inside the Medium, or inside a checked bag? I did very well with the Small this past trip and I'm not sure I would want to use the Medium as a daybag. So I'd need to pack the Small until I reach my destination.

Sandra, for my last trip, I bought both on the trip so used the small Canfield as a day bag, and when it was time to go home, I packed the small inside my checked suitcase, and used the Medium as a personal bag + purse for the flight home.

What does it say when posters know each others' inventories???
One of the reasons I enjoy this site so much,
Happy shopping day.
PS
One of my favorite sites has a sale that starts at midnight tonight, so I'll stay up .

Pam showed up with her cute ORI purse a few weeks ago and twisted my arm into buying one in a different color - LOL! I’m planning to place mine wrapped under the Christmas tree. : )

Mardee, I added one of those small Chelseas to my order, also, since that’s a great sale price…and bumped it into free shipping.

Anyone have a Plum or Cranberry bag? Wondering how bright the colors are.

Sandra, my small Canfield (well, one of them) is in Plum and to me it's more of a maroon color, rather than plum. I think Plum would have more purple in it. So not really too bright, imo, but a nice color, I think. ETA: I looked online and the color I have matches the online color pretty well on my Macbook.

Jean, don't those look cute?! I'm looking forward to receiving mine.

Ok, you Roka enablers….I am in London now. Any place you can suggest to look for them here?

There's a store called something like Paper Stockist, I think. Sorry I can't be of more help!

EDIT : also Ryman stationary stores.

SandraL, didn't you find some at the Tate Britain? I know most National Trust properties have them in their gift shop. Also I saw something about CaseLuggage (a store in Piccadilly) stocking them. https://www.caseluggage.com/about-us/

And lo and behold, you can buy them at Heathrow! https://boutique.heathrow.com/en/brands/roka

John Lewis Dept store sells them online so it's probably worth checking out the store. If you by any chance get up to York, Browns of York carries a really good selection.

I don't recall them at the Tate. I got one in Lewes at Wickle, and one at Case luggage at Heathrow.

Got mine at the Case luggage shop at Heathrow, too! It was a “Saturnalia Miracle”! (if you are a fan of the Big Bang Theory, you’ll know the reference :))

Thanks all! I guess my best opportunity will be at Heathrow. I will allow a bit of time for shopping….
