Electronics Organizer that fits charging bricks and adapter

I have a BUBM organizer that I have used for years and really liked, a smaller version of this one. It's great for cords, maybe a small power bank,a foldable USB plug, etc. But the hassle has always been the addition to my kit of charger bricks, and adapters that are...chubbier than the organizer can handle, so they got tossed in a ziploc (and this is a completely legit option!). So I recently went on the hunt for a new organizer, that wasn't too huge and I found this one . Right now it contains one USB/USB-C cord; one USB-C/USB-C cord; apple watch cord; macbook air cord; one dual-port USB-C brick (47W); one dual port USB plug; one power bank w/cord; wired earbuds. For an overseas trip, the macbook cord and the dual USB plug would not be traveling, so plenty of room for my European adapter (which has USB ports), and my Airfly bluetooth transmitter.

That is a nice option, Rebecca. If I were looking for something like that, that would be a good choice. Right now I use my two travel trays and Cubelets from Tom Bihn to keep things like that in. One holds the clunkier adapters and chargers and so on and the other one holds the cords and then I can move them around at will.

I do like the idea of that one, though, and who knows—I may change my mind and buy one just to try it out. 😊

I bought two of these for granddaughters on the recommendation of someone on the forum in 2023. They use them daily and love them for work, travel and school. They currently have a sale on 2 colors but they are all so nice and squish into efficient spaces in backpacks or carry on luggage. https://www.calpaktravel.com/products/tech-organizer

I think it is interesting how organized people want to be.

I have a cubelet from Tom Bing in which I put my cords, plugs, and adaptor. It is less effort for me to shove it all in there rather than organize it as you do. But I can see how a more organized person might not like my more minimal system.

Organization is indeed a wonderful thing. So far I have found Ziploc bags to be both sufficient for organizing and also flexible for placement in odd-shaped luggage interstices. Chacun à son goût.

This is what I use. I love the bright orange and I can spot it anywhere, and it is easy to find even in the bottom of my day pack. I keep my adapter, charging cords, and mini might light/sound machine all in there with plenty of room.

I noticed that the one OP found (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CNRDHK1?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1) has a warning on the Amazon site:

Frequently returned due to small size

I use the nylon mesh bag that came with some luggage and has a drawstring closure. It has the advantage over plastic ziploc bags that it doesn't trap air inside, so it packs no bigger than necessary. I like that I can easily access the contents (say when I'm in the airport or on the plane and I want to get my charger cord) without removing it from my backpack. The downside is it doesn't keep things organized. But I haven't found anything else that works for me.

I think ziplocs are a completely legit solution to the electronic accessories proliferation. I just wanted something that was a little more tidy, and so far, I am liking this bag. Seems well made, so my guess is the “frequently returned” notation - and honestly half of everything on Amazon has that tag - might be due to the size or layout. It’s suiting my needs at the moment!

TheOrdinaryRebecca—what works for you is the right answer:) We all have our preferences and there is no need to answer. As long as you are pleased that’s all that matters.
