Double Duty - Clear Toiletry Bags

As far as I know, all NFL stadiums have that same max. 12” x 12” x 6”, clear bag rule, although small clutch bags are allowed. A very large new amphitheater in my area also has the same rules as does the pro soccer stadium, The RS Civita bag doesn't meet the size restriction for our local pro basketball/concert stadium or local hockey/event stadium along with just being a backpack, none of which are allowed. Let's just say that tighter bag restrictions are more and more common!

So, the new protocol is to go online and check out security bag requirements before any event in a theater or stadium. Just like the airlines! These tighter bag requirements are new for Tampa Baseball Stadium. Ugh! As you mentioned, there are exceptions for diaper bags when a child is present and small 5" x 7" clutch bags (not transparent), and medical supply bags. In the recent past, I have used my RS civita and a large purse/tote - no more.

This summer when I decided last-minute to go to Omaha for one of the Sooners' games in the National Championship series of the College World Series, I checked the requirements and ended up emptying out my Tom Bihn 3D clear organizer bag, equipping it with an over-the-shoulder strap, and stuffing it with my game necessities !

Sun-Baked, the Tom Bihn bags were my first thought, with an added strap. I did not take my clear 3-1-1 on the last trip trying to save every piece of an ounce I could but I missed the fact that it has a square bottom and will sit up on it's own. Of course that does not make a difference for your purpose!

Completely agree on the weight saving dilemma though — every single ounce counts when you're going carry-on only. Sometimes those tiny functional features are worth the extra half-ounce, though

Let me save you the trouble. Everett Dirksen was a conservative, 4 term U.S. Senator from Illinois. He gave the nominating speech for Barry Goldwater at the 1964 Republican Convention.

Multi-pocket clothing is fine. Just don't carry a gun or knife or a tool resembling a weapon, like a screw driver. I believe we are all scanned entering the stadium. After I hauled my RS civita back to the car, I placed a couple of items in my cargo pants pocket with no security issue. i did leave many things in the car - like my cell phone.

I just received my amazon.com clear, vinyl bags in the mail. They will definitely work. i am that "mom" type person who likes to carry a small first aid kit, extra tissues and napkins, grocery plastic bags for garbage, etc.. My bag is smaller than the maximum allowed. I stayed with the single compartment requirement and definitely wanted a closed top due to heavy Florida rains and parking lots.
For about $14, I received two bags with handles (stadium) and two small clear, quart sized bags that will easily pass for 3-1-1 bags at airports.

I see a market for small, roll-top clear bags with a horizontal orientation, d-rings on the two sides, and straps in different colors.
