Crazy Compression (brand) socks

Has anyone here tried this brand of compression socks? I'm getting a lot of ads for it on FB which I am reluctant to trust, hahaha. BUT they have really cute designs/colors and look like they come with adequate compression amounts.

For travel I currently wear compression socks from Injinji which are toe socks. I also wear Correct Toes toe spacers so it's easier to put them on with the toe socks after I go thru Security. The Correct Toes are plastic or silicone, I guess, so should not trigger anything coming thru TSA but I never want to take the chance.

Anyway, they are several years old and still feel like I'm getting pretty good compression BUT the Crazy Compression brand has some really cute designs. Mine are basic black with some green stuff woven in.

Anyone with comments or experience?

No experience with Correct Toes or Crazy Compression. I really like Vim & Vigr compression socks, especially their cotton line. My legs do not get hot in the heat or walking all day and they’re comfortable during an overnight flight.

The moisture wicking line is too hot and I haven’t tried their nylon socks that reason. Some toeless, a couple leg sleeves besides traditional socks. Several compression strengths.

EDIT: Forgot to add that Vim&Vigr has patterned socks and also has tights.

Hi Pam, no experience with that brand. The designs are cute. I wish Darn Tough made compression socks—I love some of their designs.

I’m currently using CEP knee socks. They’re working well; in fact, I just bought two new pair.

I’m not familiar with Crazy Compression, but last year discovered Sockwell compression socks, many of which have cute designs. I even just received a couple of new pairs for Christmas! The compression design is effective, too, and they make a “regular” version, and a version for wider calves, which some of us need.

I use Vim and Vigr too. I tried several other brands and found them to be too long for me because I'm short

I love the colorful Crazy Compression socks designs. Wish I needed a new pair.
Right now I have several pair from Sockwell and Duluth Trading Company. I received some for Christmas. They are fun but not as colorful of Crazy Compression. Price seems about the same as what I have paid. I often wear them when not traveling because they are cute.

Now I have sock lust :)

Happy compressed leg travel!

I do like those designs, Pam, but I gave them one of my fake emails to get a 75% discount. The discount brings the sock price of $78 down to $20. What the heck? I'm a little skeptical of companies that do stuff like that; namely raising the prices really high to make it look good when they give you the price that everybody else is charging.

I have Sockwell and Bombas compression socks and I like both of them. Bombas has some compression sleeves that look interesting and I was thinking about trying out a pair.

One thing to be aware of: When I was doing a quick search on Google, Gemini AI noted that Crazy Compression socks had good reviews generally but did note the following negatives:

Less Warmth: Their nylon composition means they offer less warmth than socks like Bombas, which could be a downside in cold weather.

Price: Some users find them a bit pricey, but note they hold up well over time.

This is the type of thing I look out for on Sierra.com, where they currently have them for as little as $6. That said, I bought a pair from Sierra without appreciating that they were some type of nylon or other plastic-y synthetic. Yuk. I have one Sockwell and one Smartwool and like both, though I generally wear the Smartwool because the pattern is shades of black and grey and goes better with my wardrobe. I only wear them on the plane and wash them before the trip home.

Thank you all for your input! Mardee, I noticed that and figure if they can go down to $20 then there is about $2 worth of fabric in the sock.

I have not tried Sockwells although I know many here wear them. I kind of thought they had wool in them but I will look. I am allergic to wool, even merino so that would not work for me. I can wear the regular merino wool Costco socks for a couple of hours on a winter hike but can't wear them all day unless I have them pulled outside of a base layer so they don't touch my legs.

And yes to sock lust, hahaha!!! Dreary days mean I'm looking at bright colors for my feet, hahaha!

Pam, i do not have any knowledge about Crazy Compression socks, but since several people mentioned Sockwell Socks, I wanted to point out that REI sells them. Husband bought several this past fall.
So might be worth looking into especially when REI puts them on sale.

Sorry I didn’t post this earlier but I didn’t pay attention to the emails because I don’t need more socks.

We stick with what my husband’s OT recommended, a professional grade made by Jobst. I can’t say they are any better than those recommended here, but they wear like iron and really do the job well. He wears them at home, too.

Thanks for the sale info!

I've actually got an old pair of Jobst and honestly, they are too hot for me. The nylon in the injinji's don't make me too hot but the closer weave of the Jobst are just too hot and I don't really need medical grade socks...but thanks for the information. It may help someone else!
