Christmas Market Coat - added bonus

In case you need a great winter coat, the Columbia toasty winter coat I brought for the Christmas Markets is on sale right now for half price.

I love this coat! An added bonus - I wore a long-sleeve cotton t-shirt & leggings on the plane. I used this coat as my blanket without the Delta cheap pillow & blanket, and wow, it felt great! I slept deep for 5 hours on the plane in my Comfort Plus seat! I’ve usually only averaged 3 hours of light sleep.

Thanks, Jean, I may try that on my flight home with the coat I bought at Macy's for this trip.

It's been keeping me plenty warm in Munich. And the zipper pockets are big enough for my ski gloves, so I don't have to stuff them in my purse.

Oddly, it's no longer listed on the Macy's website or I would link it. Maybe they sold them all in their $99 Black Friday (and all week) sale.

Jean, I see that one review said the coat came with a weird smell. Did you experience that?

That is a nice jacket.
I have a Columbia 2 in 1 jacket I bought 38 years ago for skiing .
It still looks like brand new even with many years of wearing.
Great products.

However, the name of Jean’s jacket : “Apres Arson” ???
Only to be worn after fiery criminal acts??!

Someone enlighten me! O:

Janet, I am extremely sensitive to smells, and my coat didn’t have any odd smell. In fact, I ordered two sizes and returned the larger one; both had no scent.

I’m very impressed with your coat, it looks like it would be a good choice for my winter visits to Fairbanks when missing my grandgirls overrides my common sense about their January temperatures. I love that feature of the cuff/thumb hole that protects so much of your hand.

Can I ask what warm drinks you are finding at the Christmas markets that are non alcoholic? I’m limited to one alcohol portion a day due to a heart thing now. Gone are the days when a gluhwein in the afternoon could be followed by another in the evening as you wander around. Sigh. Do they offer spiced nonalcoholic cider, or is it only hot chocolate?

Okay, Jean - thanks so much. I became a member and ordered but have limited expectations as I really need a petite size.

I hope your Christmas market trip is fabulous!

That looks like a great coat! I am going to try and resist as I have an Eddie Bauer coat that is similar but lacks the Omni-heat feature. I am hoping to use it for the Christmas Markets next year.

Thanks Jean, glad you're staying toasty warm! I really wish I needed another winter coat. And CWS, sounds like you're staying warm as well. OMG I remember being SO cold in Northern Italy one December without water proof boots. WELL done.

Lindy, wow, 20% off discounted price, I'm having serious Coat Envy.
