hi everyone, on the hunt for my first hardcase carryon, to be used in Europe, so it has to be 55x40x20cm
I narrowed down to Travelpro Maxlite V2, the new model is slightly heavier than previous version, 3kg
and
Samsonite Nuon is at 2.5kg, but also more expensive.
Both are expandable.
A third contender could have been the Horizon H5 essential, but heavier and no expansion.
any recommendation is highly appreciated
I don't have that version (although I've had my eye on it), but I've been carrying Travelpro bags for over 30 years, and I love them. They're very durable and I've never had a problem with them at all.
Currently, I have the Travelpro Maxlite 5 soft-side spinner and I've schlepped it all over Europe for the last several years. I had the Maxlite 4 prior to this one, but gave it to my daughter, and it's still going strong. I highly recommend them.
