Looking for a carry on backpack that is expandable, spinner wheels and sized for international travel. And will be tough enough to endure being checked for the return flight home. After traveling with RS expandable backpack carry on, I realize I want the option for wheels in airports. I also like the idea of being able to use the spinner wheels to get the bag down the isle in the plane.
I know the larger wheels that go with the two wheel version are better for rough terrain, but I feel I could use the backpack option in that situation. RS offers the two wheel version but not the four wheels version. This is for international travel and potentially being checked for the return home flights. Any favorite luggage that falls into this almost impossible category?

Most wheeled backpacks are two wheeled but I found these:
If you go to Amazon and search for "spinner backpack" you will see more. I haven't tried any of them so I can't comment. Be aware, they are usually heavy.

Maybe one of the Osprey roller backpacks would work...but the ones with backpack straps are all 2-wheelers I think.

I found a dozen of these clunkers on the amazon. Check eBags, too. It's going to be a major compromise among your requirements, though.

Thanks for the responses to my continuing quest for a better bag for me. I know there isn’t a perfect one out there, but I keep looking. So far, it’s the quality and function that elude me. Thanks.
