AirTags on sale (last day) and with new feature

If you are interested in getting an AirTag, they are currently on sale through today at Target and Amazon. Target has single AirTags for $23.99 (marked down from $29.99) and a 4-pack on sale for $79.99 (marked down from $99.99). Amazon also has the 4-pack on sale for the same price as Target, but a single AirTag is regular price.

Also, Apple has added a new feature to AirTags. You can now share an AirTag with someone else (up to 5 people), which is convenient for households or families who go on separate trips. For example, if your child is heading off on trip, you just give them the the physical AirTag to use, and share it in the Find My app. When they're back, you end the share. I think it's a very handy feature.

Thanks for this reminder and the info about the new feature. It goes on today’s to-do list.

Thanks Mardee...that reminds me that I got a notice that my AirTag's battery needs changing so need to add that to my Travel TO-DO list! Wonder if the nephews and niece have Air tags. Maybe I will bring that up at Dinner today by asking if anyone has changed the battery, lol....

Occasionally I come up with a good one, lol!! Maybe I'll have to dig it out too in case anyone volunteers to change the battery for me, hahaha!

Thanks for reminding me that I need to change my AirTag batteries today. I like the sound of the new feature, but I’ll get by with what I have.

You all know...Apple is not the only company that sells AirTags. Personally, I prefer the Pebblebee Clip knock-offs. 99% of the same features, but in some ways significantly better than Apple's own AirTags: they're louder, often cheaper (including right now - pack of 4 for $64 at amazon), there's no need to buy an extra "holder" for the thing; plus they have rechargeable batteries (supposedly will last a year between charges, but I'll charge ours just before a trip, along with everything else on the pre-trip "Charge Me" list). If you love your Apple-branded AirTags, great, but if you're willing to consider a better (IMHO) alternative, give the Pebblebees a look.

Now, where did I leave my keys...?
