32 Degrees Cool Pants

Costco has 32 Degrees Pants at stores now, sorry they don't seem to be available online. They are pull on style with elastic waist band. They feature four way stretch, two front pockets and two back pockets. They are ankle length, I am 5'1" and they are regular length on me. These might be too short for some of you taller folks. Priced at $12.99 a pair. They have black, navy and gray. They look nice, I plan to wear for work.

I am a fan of these products. "32 Degree Heat" and "32 Degree Cool" shirts, jakets, vests and raingear make up 80% of my travel wardrobe. Thanks for the tip.

Are they meant for keeping you cool, or warm? I'm not sure?
Does the name denote 32 degrees C. or F.?

It is a brand name for a clothing company. Here is what their site says about 32 degrees heat,”Combines fibers that are extremely light weight but also generates heat, along with being anti-microbial and anti-static.” And for 32 degrees cool, “Technology offers lightweight and quick drying fabric that wicks away body moisture to keep dry and cool.”

Here is a link for their site: 32 degrees.com

Got over to Costco and bought three pair -- one in each color. At 5'4" (and shrinking) the 26" ankle length fits me without hemming. Machine washed cold, hung to dry and they came out fine.
Also got a teal packable vest. Just because.

These should travel well with my collection of 32° Cool tshirts and 32° Warm long-sleeve shirts. Might even get more pants if Costco puts them on sale at the end of the season.

Ooohhh, Laura! A teal vest? I just got one of the 32 degree packable vests but they only had gray, purple and pink. It looks like it will be good but TBH...who can tell about a puffy vest when it's stinking hot outside, hahaha!! It is light and squishes up pretty small.

Pam, the teal vest was only in the warehouse. And since I was there anyway ....

UPDATE: These pants are $3 off through September 2 -- $9.99 !! (At least in my local store.) So they jumped into my cart, because ... after all, quick-dry black pants with a comfortable waistband. What's not to love??
The other colors (gray and navy) were also available at $9.99.
(Note that I was wearing the gray ones at the time. Did they call out to each other ??)

Laura B. Costco has the pants on sale here, too. I went by today to check it out. They also have some other 32 Degree items sale.

Drat! They fit and seemed really comfortable but were too short , so no go.
And my Costco had no down vests yet. I'm also waiting for the down throws they had last year. Another reason to go out there every couple days....

I bought some of the ankle length pants but must admit that, as a tall person, I’m always a bit conflicted about wearing pants that are intended to be a bit short. I can’t get over the feeling that people will think I’m just wearing high-water pants because my legs are too long. Somehow those intentionally short pants that look fashionable on models don’t look so fashionable on me...... BUT the packable teal down vest I bought fits just fine. 😀

Adding my “two cents”- I bought three pairs of these pants and they are extremely comfortable. I am 5’ 2” land they are definitely ankle pants. They may not be a great choice for cool or cold weather travel but definitely for warmer travel. The fabric is very soft and the stretch does not “bag”. They are a winner! Also, Columbia has a similar style but a little more expensive. I bought a khaki pair at the Columbia outlet and they are almost identical in fit and wearability as the 32 degree pants.
