Searching for travel agent in Norway

We're coming to Norway in August for three weeks, moving from Oslo over to Bergen (via Flam), then perhaps exploring the SW area, taking the cruise to the Lofoten islands and considering whether we go further north closer to the Arctic circle. We would like to find a good travel agent to help us both with advice/ideas and with bookings. Anyone have a good, reliable and reasonably priced travel agent or agency to recommend? Thanks, Ellen in Washington DC

What kind of help are you looking for? Advice and ideas can be found on the internet, e.g. on this forum. And bookings are easy to do on your own.

I have no suggestion for you, but I agree that ground transportation in Norway is challenging to deal with. A lot of it runs very infrequently.

I have a vague recollection that someone may have posted the name of an agency he or she worked with on a trip to Norway. I wasn't planning to use a travel agent, so that information didn't make it into my prep notes.

Here's an earlier thread on the topic, though I believe this suggested agency is based in the US:

I think the agency in this thread (Nordic Visitor) is the one I remember seeing recommended: https://community.ricksteves.com/travel-forum/norway/suggestions-for-tour-group

We do have some folks who've spent a good amount of time in Norway; I'm sure they'd be happy to help with answers to specific questions.

I can contribute this little gem, picked up from a poster here: You may pay less for Hurtigruten coastal ferry tickets if you buy them on the Norwegian website, https://www.hurtigruten.no/, rather than on https://www.hurtigruten.com.

We planned our Norway trip using Brekke Travel located in Grand Forks, N.D. They specialize in Scandinavia and have long family roots in the country. They were great.
