Suggestions for Tour Group

Hi, all, my husband and I want to travel to Norway next year and are looking for a tour group to mainly visit fjords and glaciers. We are experienced travelers, but just are getting past the point of wanting to plan everything ourselves and worry about transportation, so please don't suggest that we can do our own trip without being on a tour.

I've been looking around at different tour companies and have no way to evaluate which ones are better than others.So, if you have experience with a particular tour company, please share.

I've looked at Rick's tours to Scandinavia, but don't like the itineraries. BTW, we are already signed up for our Rick Steves South Italy tour in 2022.

Odysseys Unlimited has a great itinerary. You start in Denmark and then go to Norway. We did this in 2019 and extended our stay in Scandinavia with 5 nights in Stockholm. It was a great trip. What are your S. Italy tour dates? We will be doing that one as well next May (9th to the 21st).

Nordic Visitor offers tours of varying lengths - independent, guided group & self-drive. They have a variety of Norwegian tours, many offered summer or winter. I have not used them, but have done research for a trip of my own in 2023 & am leaning strongly towards using them (the independent, solo option). Read their customer reviews & chat or email the staff with questions. I've found them to be friendly & informative. Lykke til (good luck)!

We did a wonderful Royal Caribbean cruise in 2019 from Copenhagen up the coast of Norway to the North Cape.
We visited six ports, it was amazing.

Also, we recently did a great tour of the Ring Road in Iceland with Nordic Visitor. I highly recommend that firm.
