I know that coop culture has the best prices on tours of the Colosseum underground tour, and that they only release a few months at a time. We are hoping to go to the Colosseum on July 3 or 4. When will these tickets become available? I can't find that anywhere. Thanks!

Scully, here is the information:
According to the site, tickets for July will open up at 9:00 AM ROME time on Monday, June 19th.
"It will be possibile to book on website underground Tours for individuals and underground group entrances every third Monday of the month for the following month"
That said, these tickets sell out immediately: you'll need to get up in the middle of the night to be ON the site or phone by whenever 9:00 AM Rome time is in your time zone. You also are required to purchase general entry tickets in addition to the tour (except for your kids, who all fall under age 18.)

As mentioned in that thread, a second option would be to try and get one of the evening tours (link in the thread). Tickets to the evening tours also do not include general entry tickets for the Palatine and forum so you'd need to purchase additional tickets for those if wanting to see them during the day.
