Nigel,
Thank you for the update. I only looked in the Italy forums and being as the NPR post I had seen was dated January 1st I did not go very far into the posts for December 31st and older.

Wow, I wonder how that will impact the many RS tours that include Venice, as well as other tour companies, all of whom have filled tours June-Dec 2024??

I would just assume that anything larger would be broken up between 2 groups. I like to be able to be close to the guide, so less people in a group would be a more personal experience.

In my personal experience, Venetians who don't rely on the tourist trade directly are increasingly salty about how tourists negatively impact their lives. I would imagine this would be a very popular law.

Even the idea of groups of 25 walking through Venice’s tight alleyways together is upsetting.
