My wife and I would appreciate any Varenna restaurant recommendations. A must would be outside seating with a high want of a lake view.

Hi Greg. There are many restaurants in Varenna with outside seating and lake views; it would help if you mentioned what else you are looking for; i.e. price range, menu / variety, atmosphere, etc.. Have a great trip!

There have been a couple of threads recently regarding Varenna Restaurants but I don't think any specifically mentioned lake views.

La Vista at the Albergo Milano were mentioned a couple of times in those older threads, and if you click on that link you'll see the fabulous lake view. I would try and reserve as soon as you can.

We like Ristorante La Vista a lot. The views from the deck are beautiful. But if it rains they seat you inside, and it can be noisy. But that is probably true of any restaurant with outside seating.
