Travel App

Is there a travel app in which I can input travel info such as flight info, train tickets purchased, tours booked, lodging info with also a place to input restaurants and miscellaneous things we want to do based upon my reading and research? I thought I saw a recommendation on this site but I can no longer find it.

Is a something like a spreadsheet instead?

Thanks for any suggestions!

I also have used TripIt for years and recently upgraded to their TripItPro( yearly subscription) which is helpful when traveling by air. They have informed us canceled flights before the airline.

TripIt is great for tracking the scheduled activities in your trip, but if you also want to keep track of stuff you find via research (websites and such), I don't find it as useful for that.

My favorite option for keeping track of those things is Planapple. It's not as good for inputting your flight itinerary and such (it works for those things, but it's a bit clunkier), but it's great for keeping track of all those websites you discover while researching your trip. They have a button you can install as a browser extension, and every time you find a site you want to save, you click the button and it adds the information from that site to your trip.

Another recommendation for Tripit. I've used it for years and recently upgraded to the Pro version. It's been a blessing for monitoring flights and last minute gate changes. Very easy to use, especially for us tech challenged folks.

I agree with Suki about Trip-It Pro. A couple years ago, I was able to have a 30 day trial for free. Just long enough to cover our itinerary, and it was great. I also love that it tells you when your flight is cancelled or if you can try for a price difference refund (never tried it).

Since following this post, I have installed Tripit and easily added all of our reservations! So far I love it, so thank you to all who recommended it. I am also using the Pocket app as a place to bookmark all of the websites I want to refer to later. I installed it when we began the planning process with the thought that I would only add items that related to our upcoming trip. I like the fact that I can easily share pages to the app when browsing and then set my own tags to file them away as many different ways as I please.
