We are staying at an Airbnb and thus don't have access to a printer as we would at (many) hotels, and Borghese Gallery says on its website that we have to PRINT OUT our tickets. Does anyone have experience with this, and in particular does anyone know if there are places to go (a TI, or maybe a Tabak) where one can print a ticket? Thanks.
No experience, but in your situation I would probably head to a full service hotel and throw myself on their mercy for help printing. Be willing to pay for the service.
Good morning Macia, I'm pretty sure that there is no need to print the tickets. Showing them on your smartphone should be good.
This prior thread on the subject should be helpful. :O)

I'm a bit curious about the printer issue as almost everyone has had to order tickets far enough in advance to have been able to print them at home. You were able to get them on a last-minute basis?
I was in Rome in November. I was not planning to go to the Borghese, but changed my mind after I got there. (It was a great decision; I loved it!) I was able to get tickets a few days out, probably because November is not prime tourist season. We didn’t have access to a printer either, but I was able to save them on my smart phone.
There is no need to print the tickets. They will send you a PDF with a barcode/QR code, which you can show at the door and they will scan
The "you must print" claim is probably an anachronism
on its website that we have to PRINT OUT our tickets
I couldn't find any mention about that on the Gallery's site, but it could be an outdated page; I am quite sure that the official site selling the Borghese tickets mentions three delivery options: Express mail, e-ticket and print out. The 3 icons seem quite clear: An envelope, a smartphone and a printer.
Thanks, everyone! I decided to enjoy a walk in Borghese gardens and go to the gallery just to ask if we really have to print out the tickets. The answer, as some of you said it would be, is no. At least, that is what they told me today; I'll find out Thursday if it's true. But I think it is.
And in reply to a question that came up: it seems that this time of year there is no need to book long in advance to go to Borghese Gallery. I booked yesterday for Thursday, and in fact there were tickets available for today and tomorrow, as well.

I'm sure on Thursday they'll say the same thing! I had no problem with an e-ticket in October.
I printed my tickets but also had them on my cell phone as PDF. I believe it was no problem for them to scan the PDF.
One suggestion grab the audio tour guide its like $5 or $10 but so worth it. In fact I would suggest this for any museum that offers it.
