I am going to Florence in September 2023, after researching the different ways to purchase passes to the many museums the Firenze Pass seem to be the most cost effective for us. However, I can not find any information about wether we can book our visits to the Uffizi, Accademia, and the Duomo climb in advance of our trip, or if it can only be done after the pass is activated? I worry about there being reservations available. Are there spots saved specifically for Firenze Pass holders?
The Firenzecard doesn't cover the duomo or its associated buildings (baptistry, tower, etc.) so you'll need to purchase a Brunelleschi Pass from the duomo's website and make your time-entry reservation for the dome climb at the same time, There is no ticket only for the dome.

Directions for making advance, timed-entry reservations for the Accademia and Uffizi if using the Firenzecard are here:

Note if doing it over the phone, all they ask for is your name/surname to make the reservations; you only need to have the card in your hand - along with the reservation code - when you pick up your tickets. :O)
Thanks Kathy, when I was just looking at the Frirenzecard website the Duomo compound was included, I guess I'll check again. And I saw that you do call to make your reservations for the other high demand locations after you get your card when you are in Florence, but my concern is will there be entry reservations still available when we arrive in September ? Do these locations have spots held just for Firenze Card holders?
I've just looked at the Firenzecard website again and no, the Duomo complex is not included in the list of covered museums although I believe it was a number of years ago. It also doesn't appear on the map of attractions that the pass covers.

Be sure that you're using the card's official site and not something outdated?
I've no idea if they save time slots for card holders but if you know your dates, I'd jump on reservations sooner rather than not. See the 3/09/22 post by sanomh on this thread for a helpful firsthand account of their booking experience. :O)

Thank you Kathy! I think I was getting the Firenze Card mixed up with the Florence city pass (which does include the Duomo complex) All the planning for this first time Italy visitor has my head cluttered a bit.
I've never heard of a "Florence City Pass" and can't find any current info on it. ???
Here's a link to The Florence Pass https://www.tiqets.com/en/florence-attractions-c71854/the-florence-pass-p1013858/?partner=ticketbar
It doesn't include entrance to as many museums and galleries as the Firenze Card, but it does include the Duomo.
Ah, the Florence Pass....
IMHO, that one is pretty seriously overpriced for the very few attractions it covers.
An adult ticket for the Uffizi + Accademia + a Brunelleschi Pass for the duomo complex would run you 77 euros. The Florence Pass weighs in at 104.86 euros (todays currency exchange rate.)
The Firenzecard (85 euro) + the Brunelleschi Pass (30 euro) comes in at 115 euro: a little more than the Florence Pass but includes MANY more attractions.
If not interested in climbing the dome or bell tower at the duomo, you can cut that down to 100 euros: Firenzecard + 15-euro Ghiberti Pass.
All of the options above - including the Florence Pass - require choosing a specific day/time slot to access the Uffizi, Accademia and the duomo's dome. The Firenzecard may not be the right choice for you - you may not be interested in the other attractions it covers - but I don't see the value of the Florence Pass other than it's a one-stop purchase. vs. buying 3 tickets separately.
