Hello forum - I am looking for places to stay in Venice and came across "Views on Venice". Does anyone have experience staying with them? Their prices, rentals, and reviews look almost too good to be true so I am hesitant to book. Would love to hear anyone's experience or suggestions on where to book. Thank you!

Was hoping to learn if anyone has used "Views on Venice" specifically: https://www.viewsonvenice.com/ and if they had a good or bad experience
Hi and welcome to the forum,
It looks like there is one review of the company from 2021. If you have further questions, you may want to send a private message to Lola.

I just saw this thanks to your private message. I will answer here, for others who might be interested. Views on Venice is definitely a “legitimate” company, well-established and well-regarded. They have an office in Venice at Dorsoduro 1051. Since writing that review posted above, we have stayed with them again (March 2023) at this little apartment in Dorsoduro:

It is right on Campo San Lio and they arranged a water taxi (for which we paid the usual rate) to take us from the train station to the dock at this campo. Their agent met us there and escorted us to the apartment nearby to give us keys and get us settled. From Campo San Lio we entered through a big door into a courtyard, and walked past a nice garden and an architect’s office to the back. The apartment is up 2 flights of stairs from the courtyard, and the young woman who met us carried my bag up the steps for me (I am fit and happy to climb stairs, but also very small and 75 years old, and she didn’t want me to have to carry my 24” bag up the steps. She explained everything about the apartment and the “trash rules” (Venice has a very good system for handling trash and recycling, but there are rule one must follow about what bag to use and when to put them out).
After she left us to get settled, we exited the apartment to go for a walk and discovered that one of the keys in the extra set left in the apartment did not work. I can’t remember if it was the big door from the courtyard or the door into the apartment, but one of them did not work. We contacted the office and they sent someone to take care of this immediately.
After 2 experiences renting from them I have only positive things to say about the company and their apartments, and I would happily rent from them again. I am a bit surprised that you found their prices to be “too good to be true”, as they are more expensive than many of the apartments listed on AirBnB. But I feel the reliability factor and “meet and greet” service are worth the extra. You know their listings are legal rentals, which cannot be said of all the listings on Air BnB. And I think the “meet and greet” is a boon for first-time visitors to Venice. On our last visit a year ago, we on several occasions “rescued” people who were staring at their phones, trying to figure out the directions to their AirBnB apartment from the directions provided by the host. (Hint: Google maps or Apple Maps will give you walking directions to any location in Venice if you have the proper address, which is a 4-digit (or maybe 3 or 5 in some situations) number and the name of the sestriere, like the address I listed above).
Thank you Lola for this recent review. I am looking at using them next April for a 4 night stay-
I also like this company: Venice Red House.
