I wish we would have went here more than once. This is homemade gnocchi, not the prepackaged manufactured. I had gnocchi with plain pomodoro sauce with parmesan on the side. There are many variations of sauces

Personally, among the restaurants I visited, which I can say aren't touristy, I can recommend:
Qui Sorrento: The best dinner in four days in Sorrento, a restaurant that uses carefully sourced ingredients, excellent hospitality, and high-quality cuisine.
Ibisco Restaurant: Young, good cuisine, carefully prepared dishes, and a beautiful garden.
Soul and Fish: If you want to eat by the sea in Marina Grande
