Rome Tour Guide Referral Request

We have six full days of sightseeing in Rome. We're looking for ruins and churches around the city and are wondering about a good tour guide. Also, are there any updates on the Borghese Gallery tickets? We still haven't booked ours because it doesn't allow us.

Welcome to the forum, Caleb -
Here's a previous thread on the same subject and some recommendations:

But in addition, it would be beneficial to get a guidebook and spend some time with it so you have an idea of which "ruins and churches" you might want to see as there are oodles of them. You really don't need a guide for many of the churches; the more notable of them will be covered in your book, and you can do supplemental reading about them online. Narrowing your focus + providing at least some direction will make the most economical use of a private guide.

Borghese tickets; they haven't been releasing tickets on any sort of regular schedule for awhile so just keep checking.
