Rome Christmas Day Restaurants

We will be in Rome on Christmas Day, arriving around 3pm from Venice. I am having a very hard time finding places to eat. I have found a blog out there that seems to be focused on the extremely high end customer (90Euro per person and up).
I am hoping there are some locals or folks familiar with the city who might be able to point us in the right direction. I understand it is Christmas, and options are limited, but I'd be much more comfortable being under 100 Euro for the 2 of us.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Travelling a major holiday in an observant, family-centered country has its challenges. If you can still get a reservation for dinner anywhere, even at 90+ per person, you should grab it. Otherwise, bring cold food with you from Venice and picnic where you are staying. Two other possibilities would be Turkish kabob stands or a restaurant in the Jewish quarter.

Not to worry! I posted to this discussion awhile ago. There are options! Do reserve though. Romans eat out on Christmas more than you'd think. Most places easily take reservations in English, but you might call right now as a lot of places that are open for dinner only answer the phone after 6:00PM. I would not wait until tomorrow night to call for the 25th. PM me if you need more help.

I'm guessing you aren't staying in a hotel that also has a restaurant that could be open Christmas Night. We were in Sicily over Christmas 2 years ago, at an agritourismo that also featured a restaurant. People came from all over for a big meal in the early afternoon. It wasn't cheap, but was much less than €90 per person, and was fabulous. Wherever you're planning on staying, does the owner or reservations person have any recommendations?

Quirite,
I think the challenge is that many of the restaurants in the most obvious areas are overpriced for the holiday. Katie Parla has some good picks but at very high prices. I believe the OP wants something where she can order off a normal menu, not have a 110 euro fixed price extravaganza.

As an example of the holiday insanity, I was looking for a place for New Year's Eve and came across a rooftop restaurant that wants 450 euros per person for dinner, and wine was extra! Roma e' pazzesco!
