Roma Pass or Omnia Pass

I will be in Italy in September/October. On previous forums, I see conflicting information as to whether the Roma Pass or Omnia Pass is worth it. Thoughts? Also, I keep reading in travel books that you will need to pay a few extra Euros to get timed tickets, but how do you do that if you have a Roma Pass or Omnia Pass? I don't want to spend several hours in slow-moving lines!

I appreciate any help you can give me!

Here's the website for the Omnia Pass for those who might want to offer an opinion: https://www.omniavaticanrome.org/en/cards/omnia-card-72h

The best I can tell from a cursory look, the Omnia Pass is the Roma Pass (2 free sights and usually-modest discounts at others, I assume) with the addition of coverage for the Vatican Museums, St. John Lateran, a few audio guides, and some HO/HO buses.

The Omnia Pass is very overpriced and I've never seen it recommended for purchase by anyone on any travel website.

The FAQs on the Roma Pass website will tell you what you need to know regarding museums which have mandatory advance reservations and how to make those reservations if using the pass:

It doesn't cover anything at the Vatican: this is their website for tickets/tours (which go FAST for high season!):
