Hi all looking for restaurant suggestions in Rome
( we will be in Monti area) I’m open to areas though. Also looking for a lunch spot in Lucca and a lunch spot in Venice (not for fish) we will have our kids ages 14 and 17 so just casual dining nothing fancy. I especially love bruschetta and am a huge artichoke fan ( I keep hearing about amazing artichokes in Rome however I’ve never had them there) and of course we all love pasta and pizza. Open to any suggestions for any food type you loved -bakery, cafe, gelato, etc. Do you find reservations are necessary and if so where do I make them at restaurant website, an app, etc. thanks in advance for any input. Getting so excited only 2 more months now!
For Rome, I would suggest the Jewish Ghetto for lunch. There are several restaurants that feature Artichokes. Nonna Betta & Da Gigetto are famous for fried artichokes & so much more! For a bakery recommendation try Boccione for their specialties. https://community.ricksteves.com/travel-forum/italy/food-jewish-quarter-rome
