Sorry, just saw your follow-up question. Provided the hotel's shuttle service will meet you at the Civitavecchia train station rather than the cruise port, that seems to be the easier route. For 70 euro, the shuttle could take the 2 of you directly from the train station to the hotel. Also, the Intercity train will arrive in Civitavecchia about 2 hours earlier than you would get to the airport. I calculate the additional cost of going on to Termini (2 x 8 euro), taking the Leonardo Express to the airport (2 x 14 euro) and then the shuttle to the hotel (2 x 8 euro) as totaling 60 euro. So, for only 10 euro extra you could take the shuttle from Cicitavecchia, probably arrive at the hotel at least an hour earlier and have fewer changes. If the cruise port shuttle runs on a specific schedule as opposed to by reservation, then you'd have to consider whether the timing of the shuttle service makes sense.
