There are many services I have found that offer private transfers between Naples and Positano. I am looking for recommendations from personal experience.

We used this service May 2919 for Naples to Sorrento then Sorrento to Amalfi
Both legs about 100 euros
We were very pleased and would recommend/use again

We used Amalfi Coast Destinations for an all day Amalfi Coast tour but they also do transfers. We found the car's to be luxury automobiles, very clean and reliable with highly experienced drivers familiar with the area:

Second vote for Amalfi coast destinations. I have used them on 3 separate trips- both for private transfers and day tours. The drivers are great and are always on time (usually early). A couple of transfers were from the train station and they were waiting at the end of the platform.
They are also very open to customizing and creating a tour for you if you were looking for that too. It is a beautiful part of Italy but way more cumbersome to move between the towns than other parts of Italy. We turned a couple of transfers into mini tours- for example pick up in Sorrento, end in Amalfi but stop in Positano and have lunch at a winery on the way.

We're renting a car in Naples, staying in Pompeii for the night to see the ruins the next day, then driving to Positano for two days, and then back to Naples Central train station for about $600. I wonder if it would be cheaper, or at least easier to use a service. I also wanted to stop in at Ravello on our way from Pompeii to Positano.

We booked Positano Limo from Rome to Positano w/ a stop in Pompeii and Positano to Naples. They have been a pleasure to deal with to date. Enjoy!

Ask your hotel to assist you with a booking. You’ll have to pay big or use public transportation. I just paid 260€, round trip, Naples to Atrani. Atrani to Ravello was 60€. The hotel made the arrangements. The rides were with professional, skillful drivers in a sleek Mercedes. I also took a taxi from Positano to Atrani, 90€, and an electric cart ride from Atrani to Amalfi boats, 20€. Ferry from Amalfi to Positano was $9/pp.
