The Viking ship ends in port of Chiogga and we need to get to Verona.
Do we have to go into Venice to get a train

CJean and jules m both gave you answers about using the trenitalia website with a train and bought tickets on the bus going to padova/padua.
what month does this cruise end? may be too early to book tickets
not knowing how many are on your ship, everyone wanting off at same time, hoping to do the same thing you are doing, how many ships in port. look at website to see times of trains/buses that you decide what you want.
are you checking into hotel in verona and spending few days? hope all works out, enjoy & happy travels
