Leaving on Rick Steve's Sicily tour soon. Are there laundry services available at any cities on our tour? On a few other tours we were able to drop off laundry for pick up the next day.

I don't know where the tour goes, but laundry service in Italy exists in every town, except maybe the smallest villages.
Go to google maps, zoom in on any Sicilian town of your choice, and enter the word LAVANDERIA in the search box, and you'll find plenty of options.
The best option is probably to do your laundry in a town where the tour stays a couple of nights.

We are planning to drop off our laundry in Trapani at this place:

Haven't tried it, however the website says they will provide drop off/pick up service, so we shall see. RS GB also recommends a laundromat in Trapani, however it might be self service, not sure.

With laundromats overseas, my experience is they tend to be small with only a few washers and driers. Almost all have change machines to convert bills to coins, but you may want to have some 1 and 2€ coins set aside. Many include detergent and conditioner with the price that is automatically added to the wash..

The hotel that we stayed at in Ortigia on the RS tour had laundry service. Ask your guide where laundry service will be available on the tour.
