For my last day on a future trip, I was wondering where to stay within reasonable distance (30ish mins) to the airport.
Padua seems obvious choice, Venice is not in the cards for me. Anywhere else interesting? Will be driving.

Where are you coming from?
Padua deserves more than an overnight stay.
Treviso is another option- a little closer than Padua
Treviso is very attractive. It just doesn't have as many go-inside sights as Padua.
Thanks all, coming from South Tirol.
I may save Padua for another trip when I have more time, hence the question.
I may not be in the mood for running around to sites after a physically active trip. So somewhere that is just atmospheric and relaxing may be enough for the last day.
Is your early AM Venice flight to one of the European hubs for a long haul back to the US? IF so, I would consider flying from Venice late afternoon the day before to the hub in question and staying the last night there so you don't have to leave at the crack of dawn. Especially if you have had an active vacation in the Dolomites.
Stay at an airport hotel, and do your sightseeing before you get there. It’s been a few years, but the Best Western Titian Inn is good and there was a really nice restaurant within walking distance.
