Hi -
A couple of years ago, you answered a question about kids tickets for the Colosseum by saying that kids are free, but have to be booked in advance. But has that now changed? The Coopculture booking page says:
ATTENTION: from 1st May 2023
every visitor who is entitled to free tickets according to the law (https://www.beniculturali.it/agevolazioni), whether individuals or part of groups with a guide, will be able to collect the free ticket at the cash desks located inside the Colosseum and at the ticket office in Largo della Salara Vecchia, where dedicated cash desks will be set up.
Individual visitors who are entitled to free tickets according to the law (https://www.beniculturali.it/agevolazioni) can also collect their tickets at the ticket office at the Temple of Venus and Rome.
Does that mean that the system now is to buy adult tickets first on the Coopculture website, and then go to one of these ticket offices to get the free kid's ticket, without booking anything for the kids in advance? If so, can I be sure that there will be some kids tickets left when I get there?
Thanks.
