I purchased an electric plug adapter from Amazon. It was for Italy and has three prongs , but some are shown with two prongs. Two or three???
It will be fine.

I always take two prong adapters and have never had a difficulty.
You would do well to bring a two-prong adapter just in case.
Three pin plug adapters are used for grounded appliances, but will work just fine with ungrounded. The grounded adapters have the three pins in line, and are unique to Italy. If you're just charging mobiile phones or other electronic devices, the two pin models will work fine.
As someone else suggested, it would be a good idea to bring a couple of two pin plug adapters as well. If you're going to be travelling in the UK, you'll need a different type of adapters.
