Italian towns between Rome and Civitavecchia to Stay without a Car

Hello,
We are looking for an Italian town/village to stay in for around 5 nights before a sailing trip. We don't want a car, would like it to be walkable and scenic. We like architecture, taking photos, wine, good food, and chilling out. Not into shopping or many museums.
We have visited Rome numerous times, and also stayed in Santa Marinella, Orvieto, and Siena. Trying to stay within an hour to the port. We will hire a driver to take us to the town, and then to the port. We don't want to hump our bags on the trains, but a day train trip is fine to visit a close town.
Thank you!

I would stay in Rome.
Between Rome and Civitavecchia there is the beach town of Santa Marinella which is along the railway line.

Viterbo is attractive but not undiscovered. I would also stay in Rome. How risky is it to meet an afternoon Embarcation, after all? Is the boat a charter yacht, or a cruise ship?

What is it that you are trying to optimize? You are not going to find a time-travel, forgotten, village outside Rome.

We are going on the Star Clipper, but timing for that is unimportant, only 170 PAX. Just thought we might find some relaxed place to chill. Not too busy and loud. Anybody stay/visit Bracciano?
We are not averse to Rome, however, we have been there multiple times and have visited many sites (although there are many more). Any particular neighborhood in Rome you can recommend for a not so high tourist vibe?
TIA

Parioli, north of Villa Borghese, is a slightly upscale residential area you might enjoy.

I rather like Porto Santo Stefano, but it is a seasonal place, best between May and September with high season July and August.
