Is St. Peter's Basilica closed for meeting?

I read a response to someone's post regarding visiting the Vatican Museum that St. Peter's is closed for a meeting and will be closed for three weeks. Does anyone have any information on this?

Well, there is a three week council on "The Family" going on at the Vatican, but they're not meeting inside the basilica. Sorry I can't find more info than that. Perhaps you should try TripAdvisor's forum since it's frequented by people living in Rome:
